The founding members of the Friends of the Jewish Cemetery Berlin-Weissensee regard the Jewish Cemetery in Berlin-Weissensee, the largest surviving Jewish cemetery in Europe, as a great document of cultural history, a cultural heritage worthy of preservation, a monument to Judaism, and a memorial to history.
